Since Angela and I have arrived, we’ve gotten lost about three times in this jungle of towers and lights and spent almost half of our money on food and cabs… nobody said NYC was cheap… and even though Washington Mutual may soon be receiving my money wiring services, it’s already been loads of fun accompanied with bellies of laughter.

AND FOR TONIGHT…

Nicole, Angela and I will be heading over to the Apple Store in SoHo for Los Amigos Invisibles, which is open to the public.  GET THERE EARLY because there is very limited room.

From there, we shoot over to La Oveja Negra for some full throttle head banging, mosh pitting, and tons of hang overs awaiting.  CHYEA!!

I’m Adri and I’ll be writing on behalf of the LAMC (Latin Alternative Music Conference)! If you don’t already know about it, you’re a loser… But don’t worry ’cause Adri’s about to get you in the know!

LAMC is the ONLY ginormous conference with a goal to get Spanish-language alternative music known. Networking is a biggie at LAMC as leading artists, label executives, journalists, managers…pretty much anybody who’s anybody in the alternative music scene is there!! There are panels with the who’s who of alt. music discussing many different topics, free music by some of today’s best musicians (both up-and-coming, as well as already known) at various venues in NYC, and THOUSANDS of people from all over!

This year is the LAMC’s 10th birthday, and they’re definitely going all out. Beginning July 7th, in the Big Apple, there’ll be a gang bang of the most awesome people around… Including me, of course. I’ll be updating like crazy and filling you in on all the happenings. Best of all, yours truly will be interviewing some of the artists and asking them some very controversial questions. You’ll be the first to see, hear, and read everything… It’ll be like you’re ACTUALLY there, except you won’t be (that is if you didn’t register)!!!
